I’ve been sort of busy for the past days. For the past two days, I think (which is a lot of time, I know); it’s had to do with RO, but I haven’t playing as for lately. You’ll see, a friend of mine has opened his own private RO server (by private I mean, a free RO server for anyone who wants to play in it; it’s called so since it’s “owned” and maintained by a particular individual) after beta-testing it for almost a couple of months, and I was asked to help build the website.
This would make my second attempt of sorts at making a website not for my own use. And I say “of sorts” because, for this website, I’ve used a template and only had to work on the CSS a bit. Or a lot. I still need to finish the main banner for the site but it’s 2:25 in the morning and making graphics always leave with no ideas. As for my first attempt at making a website for others’ use, well, it was an original design for me that I still had to “fix up” a bit more; just for the record, I’ll tell you I wasn’t even aware that one of my creations had made it to the net.
Because that design was supposed to be my little RO fansite, but my sister “borrowed” the codes, copy-pasted them and made it into the website for a private RO server she was part of.
Ah, well, I didn’t like that design that much after all.
Anyway, if I’m updating my journal at this hour and am writing in English, that’s because I felt I had to spam my flist after being stuck with CSS and HTML codes most of the day. It relaxes me, writing in my blog. Almost as much as ranting. But you know that I usually ranting by writing in my blog, so…
I’m only writing in English because I have a meme to post today. I got it from

4. Boromir/Legolas [Lord of the Rings] (Because of some authors in the fandom who wrote pretty good B/L fics, but yeah, those two have nothing to do with each other in movie or bookverse)

That’s all I can think of, for now. I guess these lists will change as time passes, I find new manga/anime and videogames to read/watch/play, come across more fandoms, enjoy more fanfiction and doujinshi, and so forth. Anyway, I think the one and only pairing I’ve always worshipped and will alway worship is Sol Badguy x Ky Kiske from Guilty Gear. Worshipping since 1999 and still counting…
The first game of the GG saga was released in 1998, nine years ago, and despite being a “cult game” for some time, it wasn’t a true hit until the second title, Guilty Gear X: By The Side, released two years afterwards. I still remember the recurrent theme of discussion in most GG’s forums, you know, if a certain long-haired bad-ass anti-hero actually has something with a very bishounen, religion-obsessed swordsman.
It seems that after 19 games in the sage (though more of them are “versions” of the same title), nobody questions this issue in the fandom anymore. No, really. Even Daisuke Ishiwatari, the creator of the games, went to the lengths of “illustrating” a certain piece of artwork of Sol and Ky with the legend hostility is akin to love, which has become the slogan for this practically-to-be-declared-canon pairing.
Now, I’d talk about the “evidence” found in canon about this pairing (particularly, the CD dramas, oh the gayness of them! (and my English dies with that sentence), but I’m sure I’ll turn this supposedly meme-entry into a shipping manifesto. So, let’s talk about the Bleach anime instead.
As I was saying, let’s talk about the Bleach anime. Because, you know, the filler finished 3 episodes ago after going on (and on, and on, and on) for over a year. Nothing really excited about the anime past that point actually, since the animation is still that crappy (sorry but it IS!) and the storyline… It’s just there. But the Arrancar are finally to make an appearance next episode, and it’s been revelead who the seiyuu for Ulquiorra and Grimmjow will be.
You know, I’ll download those episodes only to listen to the seiyuu (there isn’t much to do with a Bleach anime ep after all).
Ulquiorra will be voiced by, whoa, Takeshi Kusao. And I’m pretty sure you can’t place one role he’s played in his very long career, can you? Though he’s played very well-known anime characters, but in comparison to Koyasus, Hoshis, Mikis and other seiyuu, he’s rather hard to “place”. Well, he was Parn in Lodoss Tou Senki, his first important role back at the beginning of the ’90s. And – Trunks from Dragon Ball Z (oh, LOL), Krad in DN Angel, Kougaiji in Gensou Maden Saiyuuki, Hanamichi Sakuragi in Slam Dunk (oh, double LOL) and… And, of course, Ky Kiske in all and every game of the Guilty Gear saga, as well as the CD dramas. The ultimate bishounen! Well, at least for me.
Hmmm, I think I can place Kusao as Ulquiorra. But, wait, do you know who will voice Grimmjow? Keiji Fujiwara, who should be known for playing Maes Hughes in Full Metal Alchemist, but mostly because of his role as Reno in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and Axel in Kingdom Hearts II.
Him, I think I can place as Grimmjow.
In this case, Bleach will be the second anime I like listening to, right after One Piece (another great example of really poor animation for a cool manga series).
Oukei….
This is a meme I read in
I had the nerve to tell Karoru I didn’t like my bishies very young (I was talking about Tezuka from Tennis no Oujisama, while the young man who’s almost always featured in my layouts is 15 years old. I completely forgot about that. BUT – in my defense, I’d like to say that, while I do like Ichigo, he’s not featured in this meme because I don’t find him particularly attractive. In fangirlish words, I wouldn’t be drooling all over here him as I most definitely am for, let’s say, Gaignun Kukai of Xenosaga. And I’ve assumed this meme has to do with the drooling factor, right?
Hey, I was just trying to excuse myself, sorry…
Here we go.
List 10 anime/videogame characters you find attractive, then tag 5 other people.
1. Sousuke Aizen [Bleach]
2. Kazuhiko Amamiya [MPD Psycho]
3. Heine Rammsteiner [DOGS]
4. Aya Fujimiya [Weiss Kreuz]
5. Vergil [Devil May Cry]
6. Gaignun Kukai [Xenosaga]
7. Ky Kiske [Guilty Gear]
8. K’ [King of Fighters]
9. Margulis [Xenosaga]
1. Aizen is my personal sex god, as you may know if you’ve checked my profile page. Er… In his I’m-bad-and-I-like-me-that-way facet only, if you please. I never noticed him while in his nerdy charade…
2. Though I never finished reading the manga of MPD Pyscho (it features a live action tv series, I think), I find Amamiya to be quite a likable character, not to mention, well, attractive (it must have been the glasses; men with glasses have that smart aura to them). And I’d like to say he wasn’t that crazy, no; his other 6 personalities made him do it, that’s it.
3. I’ve read very little of the DOGS manga… Well, there are only 2 volumes available so far. And I like my little psychos a bit deranged, just not too much.
4. You can shoot me now,
5. White-haired, blue-clad, katana-wielding half-demons are the sexiest! Enough said.
6. You know, smart is sexy. Especially if that particular one person is not only smart-looking but filthy rich, among others (among others includes being a genetically engineered human weapon and having a severe case of a split personality of sorts). That only serves to add to the overall sexiness, you know?
7. My favorite bishounen of all had to be included in the list. Just in case anyone asks, he’s 26 in the first game. Doesn’t matter if he looks like a 15-year-old, the important part is the info given in you ID card, not your looks (I’m not into underaged bishies…!)
8. I always liked him the most in the King of Fighters saga, but being this a SNK fighting game, he suffers from a massive what’s-character-development complex. Hmm, other than being a clone of the the second-most-cloned-character-in-videogame-history (the first is Sephiroth, of course)… But looks is what actually counts in this list, right? So here he is. Again with the white-haired, leather-clad bishies…
9. Because old is sexy. Because he isn’t half that hot without that scar. Because we can only speculate how Jin got the Y-Data disc.
“But how did you manage to obtain it, captain?”
“Thanks to my skills. It’s called, ‘seduction’.”
“…Excuse me?”
“Ahem, cough, cough… I mean, ‘infiltration’…
Ok, as you may have noticed, I only listed 9 characters. Couldn’t think of more bishies I actually liked for their charming looks, so… And now, I tag
Fangirlismus call!
English entry coming this way – just because this update features a meme survey I stole from

Hola, gente. Hice este test que encontré en la red… Me pareció interesante.
Which religion is the right one for you? (new version) |
